Olivia Grey Pritchard, B.A., M.S., CPP, Click Pro Master
After five years as a United Nations photographer working in combat zones, Olivia moved to New Orleans in 2012 and began serving families with her unique perspective of the visual legacy we want to create for our children. Through her work behind the camera and creating her archival-quality artwork that families cherish for generations, Olivia preserves both the milestone and the everyday memories.
The subject is always the focus of her portraits, and Olivia seeks honesty and authenticity in her art. Her aim during sessions is to connect with those qualities in each and every baby, child, and animal she has the pleasure to capture. A session is more than simply taking photos of what she sees. Olivia wants to create beautiful images from what she feel when she is with your family.
Olivia is a Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America, and her newborn, pet, and family photography has won awards at regional and international levels.
A strong believer in giving back to the community, Olivia advocates, fundraises, and serves on the Annual Gala Welcoming Committee for the New Orleans Innocence Project, a legal nonprofit that works to exonerate wrongfully convicted men and women in Louisiana and Mississippi. Olivia volunteered for 8 years as Area Coordinator for the international nonprofit Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, which provides the gift of professional portraiture to families suffering the loss of a baby, and for the first three years of Pablove Shutterbugs, Olivia served as Teaching Artist for the program that teaches children living with cancer the art of photography. Olivia encourages everyone to check out any of these amazing organizations if they're looking for worthy causes to contribute either their time or funding!
And finally, her daughter Lulu is just the best thing that ever happened to her!
Hannah Rachal, B.A., M.A.
Studio Manager
Hannah, our studio manager extraordinaire, has worked at Olivia Grey Pritchard Photography since 2013 and loves getting to know each and every client! Hannah and Olivia are sisters -- if you've met them, you can probably tell! Originally from Hattiesburg, Hannah received her B.A. and M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi. Along with her work at the studio, she teaches communication courses at Delgado Community College and Southern Miss.
Hannah has a full house of two cats and two dogs, making her the perfect assistant for pet sessions. She also assists with newborn sessions, and her background in childcare makes her a rock star working with toddler siblings. Hannah has a beautiful singing voice and frequently performs in New Orleans theatre productions -- and brings that talent to studio sessions when we need to entertain kids with their favorite Disney song!
