Moody Mini: Isla

Another baby I've photographed since she was a tiny one is getting so big, y'all - and she has ALWAYS brought BIG energy to her sessions. When I announced my new sessions this year, my Moody Minis, I was so excited when her mom signed her up for a spot, because I knew it would be epic. She did NOT disappoint.

The whole point of these Moody Mini sessions is for your kid to be just THEMSELVES. I won't ask them to smile. I might crack a joke at the end, but I won't ask them to smile. I want them to feel fierce, powerful, and strong. I want them to wear whatever they want to. These sessions are black and white and shot with natural light as my main light source, so they have a very specific look and feel. The contrast of the black and white plays beautifully with the strength and honesty of the subject matter, and they have quickly become some of my favorite sessions to shoot.

So without further ado, I give you Isla, in all her glory. This is one special kid. Don't ever change, girl.
