Our At Home Christmas Tree Sessions are some of my very favorites. Each one is so different because each family and their tree, their home, and their traditions are unique. I've actually gotten some great ideas for little things to add to my own family traditions from seeing the amazing things y'all are doing for your kids!

I always feel like the holidays are my favorite time, but also hard. I want to slow down and enjoy them, but I also want to take Lulu to ALL THE THINGS, I want to make sure we bake the cookies, we watch the movies, we do the traditions... plus I want to do grownup things with my friends! And then I blink and it's done, and I'm feeling bad for whatever I missed or forgot. But then I give myself some grace because kin-keeping is hard work, it falls solely to me for holiday celebrations which is a lot of pressure, and we can fit that thing in next year. 

So if you're like me and you are just trying to MAKE THE MAGIC for your kids, and they love Christmas and will have amazing core memories because of YOU, do yourself and your kids a favor and book this session. We'll capture them and the tree, but also the other special parts of your holiday like stockings, favorite ornaments, hot chocolate, cookies, whatever you want to add. This type of image (in the dark with just the tree lights) is the hardest to take on your own, but they're SO BEAUTIFUL when captured with the right equipment and some heavy duty editing. You deserve a beautiful record of the hard work you are putting in for your family, and they deserve to have the memories in photographs.
