While we have so many gorgeous on-location options for a New Orleans family photographer to create stunning fine art family photos, don’t forget the studio!  There are so many advantages to a studio family portrait session.

  •      The heat and rain won’t mean we have to reschedule! It doesn’t matter a bit what the weather is doing outside.
  •      A studio session means your portraits are REALLY focused on the connection and love within your family. We don’t have any background distracting or competing for attention.
  •      It’s often so much easier to have space and a bathroom to check hair/makeup/clothing right before the session and make any last-minute adjustments.
  •      Did I mention air-conditioning?
  •      Air-conditioning.

I really adore studio family sessions. And remember, the more chaotic the session feels to you, the more REAL your portraits will be. I promise I will get the images you will love. Let go of your expectations of your kids’ behavior. There is nothing they can throw at me that I haven’t seen before. So let it go. Especially now, in a global pandemic, when all of our lives and routines have been changed. These moments are precious and they go by so, so quickly. Let’s capture your family portraits as you really are. The most important thing is to have real images that are reflective of your family today; albums and artwork that you will pass down to your children, books of portraits that you will look through with your grandchildren. Your family is perfectly imperfect, and this is art.
