a stunning new family of 4

This lifestyle newborn session was my first time working with this family, and I love it when everything gels and clients feel like they've been friends for ages. Zara is so sweet with her baby brother Zane, and even Grandma was there to be included! I love it when we can get grandparents into images, I think it's really something we overlook and then regret not having.

I also love working with little older siblings. I think a lot of times parents dread a newborn session with their 18 month old, or 2 year old, or 3 year old... but mama, that's my time to shine! Zara really was a champ, cooperating with me for nearly two full hours (with some breaks while baby ate, etc.). We were buddies at the end, and I was so proud of her. Zane was a sweet, sleepy little guy, and I love his solo portraits with mom and dad. We can't wait to see him again soon for his 4 month session, and then Zara the next month for her 3 year old session! Watching kids and families grow is really one of my favorite parts of my job.
