3 lessons to pass from father to son

Fatherhood: it's a big undertaking! Especially for this dad, who has two young, rambunctious boys. They all came in from Baton Rouge for little Mav's Sitting Up Session at our studio in New Orleans. These brothers are adorable and they looks so much like their daddy! Their sweet relationship inspired us to write this post. From what we have learned from so many of our wonderful dads here at our family photography studio, here are a few lessons dads can pass along to their sons.

Work Hard

So many of our dads here at Olivia Grey Pritchard Photography are really hard workers! Many of them work long hours each day, but they find time to take family photos with their kiddos because they value family time. Instill the importance of hard work at a young age. These boys might just follow in their dad's footsteps one day with their family company!

Play & Be Silly

These adorable boys had such a fun time playing with their dad in our studio for Mav's Sitting Up Session! You can tell they spend time with each other at home just goofing around and laughing! Big brother gives Mav the giggles a lot, and so does his dad. :) What a beautiful legacy to give your children: laughter and fun!

Show Love & Respect

One of the most important things we like to capture here at Olivia Grey Pritchard Photography are the little moments of connection. You can see relationships through our photos, and we know the father-son bond is strong. Dads, snuggle your babies, hug your kids, and show them you love and respect them. They'll never forget those moments!
